The TTC-PON is a proposed upgrade of the TTC system allowing bidirectional and faster transmission (10/2.5 Gbps) of timing, control and monitoring signals using a single Passive Optical Network for both up- and down-streams. It is currently focused on Phase 1 upgrades for ALICE and LHCb, but also preparing for HL-LHC upgrades.
