ATLAS read-out low level S/W development

EP-ESE takes care of the Linux device drivers and related low-level libraries used by the PC and VMEbus-based ATLAS read-out systems. This includes the drivers for memory management, VMEbus access and the FLX-712 card of the FELIX project.

ATLAS read-out project management and services

EP-ESE takes responsibility for a number of tasks in the ATLAS readout and beyond. This includes the procurement of electronics (computers, FLX-712 I/O cards, VMEbus SBCs, PCBs) as well as the organization of the read-out on-call team and direct user support.
